 What you need to know

🌿Food & Drink will be provided with plenty of veggie and vegan options – please let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements when you RSVP

🌿Food will be served around 4/5 pm so make sure to eat before the ceremony if you get snackie like Ellie

🌿Dress Up! Wear something fabulous and made to dance in.

🌿Parking will be available at both venues. Pay & Display @ Stoke Town Hall and Free @ Bagnall Village Hall. You are welcome to leave your car in the Bagnall Village Hall car park overnight and collect in the morning before noon.

🌿The ceremony venue is a 15 minute drive from the reception venue. Car shares and taxis will be arranged for those who need.

🌿Our ceremony venue doesn’t allow confetti so please use that box in your draw for celebrating how awesome you are instead.

🌿We’ll be partying till 11 PM (I know, already past Ellie’s usual bedtime) but there’s no obligation to stay this late if you need to head off.

Want to gift us something?

As well as celebrating our marriage we’ll also be celebrating 7 years together so we’ve got more pots and pans than you could shake … well a spatula at.

So instead of helping us build our home you are invited to help us create our first adventure together as a married couple across the isles of Japan.

If you fancy making a weekend of it …

We think Stoke is pretty awesome …

if you know where to go.

So why not check out some of our favourite spots.

Chow Down

@Slamwich Club – Chonky Gourmet Sandwiches

@Betsys – for when nothing but a burger will do

@LDK – Bao & Dumplings

@Bo & Bean – Boba Tea & Sweet Treats

Take a Stroll

(shh don’t say the W word – Basil will hear you)

@Knypersly Resevoir – A local woodland treasure perfectly modelled by the dashing Basil (left). Explore its victorian follies and the legend of Gawton’s well. Oh and it’s where we got engaged!

@Peak District – Explore the rolling hills and picturesque views. Go to Bakewell for a chocolate box village, Ladybower Reservoir for a leisurely wander or Stanage Edge for a bit more of a challenge and epic views.

@Tretham Gardens – Private estate turned pleasure gardens. Explore Trentham Lake, the Italian gardens and spot a black swan or two. Entrance to the gardens is paid for but you can enjoy the shopping village outside for free.

Sleep Tight
